Website Collection

the

STORY

During my junior year of high school, back in 1998-99, I had the opportunity to create a website using nothing more than HTML and some animated gifs. Little did I know then, that simple experience would help point my interests towards a degree in Computer Graphics Technology & Multimedia. This major required a plethora of courses where I learned the ins and outs of early website design and development. If zip drives were still a thing, I would happily pull up some of my saved screenshots showcasing those first preliminary websites.

When I say “early” website development, much of what I knew such as HTML, Javascript, PHP, and ActionScript has evolved into what we use today within platforms like WordPress, Squarespace, and Wix – without the need to know how to code. This background provides me with a firm foundation and understanding of websites, affording me the opportunity to grow and change with it as a designer. Below you will find some of my favorite websites that I worked on either as a designer, developer, and/or creative director from the past 10 years.

Lifestream Services

Lifestream Services sought to update their entire brand with a new logo, tagline, marketing materials, fleet graphics, and ultimately finish it all up with a new website launch. This website needed to convey a fresh approach of celebrating life and independence while showcasing all of the recent brand changes.

Connections Academics

Connections Academics was looking to improve how their website worked. They were already using Squarespace and knew how to update their content, but the understanding of what they did and where their services were offered was becoming confusing for their audience. Our team came together to produce an outstanding approach to not only their content but how people access it online. I was incredibly proud of the collaborative effort and couldn’t be happier with the feedback we received from the client.

EDGE Document SOlutions

Not only did we design a new logo for EDGE Document Solutions, but they were so pleased with the results, that they signed up to do a full website and brand refresh. We replaced the old outdated one with a much better navigational structure, a responsive CMS, and included custom isometric graphics that complemented the new brand rollout.

Creek Run L.L.C.

Sometimes, a company website simply needs a refresh. It had been over 7 years and it was time for Creek Run to not only update the website but take a deep dive into the content and how it is presented. The new direction and heavy focus of their services helped to increase their engagement and has given the company’s brand a better emphasis on what they do best.

More to Explore

The Children’s Museum of Muncie was looking to launch a capital campaign and they asked us to brand it and come up with all of the marketing and advertising for it. This included a campaign microsite that eventually evolved into a full website. The website served as a way for current and potential donors to find out every detail they needed to know about the campaign while providing updates on the campaign as pivotal milestones were achieved.

BSU Campus Rentals

Student off-campus housing typically isn’t all that luxurious and neither are the websites. Campus Rentals wanted to change all of that with their property website for their Ball State University locations. As part of another full brand project, the big request for this website was that someone would be able to enter ANY type of search criteria and be given results that would direct them to the property that they desired. While it was difficult to create something this complex, we sought out the right kind of expertise and were able to deliver for the client and ultimately their target audience.
